Poker Trivia Answers
June 14, 2010 Trivia Post QUESTION: If you are the 1st to act off the blind
with poker Aces should you... ANSWER: (A) Raise with pocket Aces You
always raise with poker Aces in any position. If you slow play, by just calling the blind you are
letting a lot of players in on a call. It is then more likely that someone will draw out on you. I would rather
take the blinds then loose a $500 pot because I did not bet it. If someone raises in front of you I would re-raise the
pot. Your A's will hold up a lot better with 2 to 3 players in the pot, then 6 or 7. Some people say no way, I am 63%
favorite to win. Yes that is true, but what they don't tell you is that the more players in the hand the less your odds
become. Home many times have you had 6,9 off suite hit the board and someone flops 2 pair, don't let them play the "crap".
What it may cost you when you think your two A's are top pair? You will be out of the game ! So, don't under
play them, you will be sorry in the long run. You may get lucky slow playing them, but think about it first, know your
players! Disclaimer:
